Note: As Nigeria, a country with more than 250 ethnic groups, continues to battle with challenges associated with its diversity, the artists of the National Museum of Unity Enugu continue to develop innovative strategies to promote understanding, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence.
 
Portraits of prominent Nigerians are painted wearing the traditional attire of other ethnic groups rather than their own. Social psychologists believe that we inadvertently feel a sense of oneness with anyone whose dress aligns with our culture.
